Measurement of (IL-11 ) Levels in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Background:
 Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that affects the joints principally. Synovitis , cartilage and bone erosion are most prominent symptoms of (RA). Stages development this very complex, Synovial cells rupture form inflammation in synovium, followed by deterioration. Cytokines proteins play crucial role onset arise causing progression disease. This research aims to learn more about interleukin-11, which protein produced immune system. A cytokine belongs interleukin-6 family. It has pro- anti-inflammatory potentials its relationship can be determined measuring level (IL-11) concentration.
 Materials Methods:
 The current study included 45 patients with (RA), addition (apparently healthy) subjects as control group study. These samples were collected from Marjan Hospital Babylon Governorate (joints unit) during period 1/11/2021 3/15/2022. sera all examined for determination IL-11 concentration level, using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, type immunoassay enzyme coupled (ELISA).
 Results:
 At likelihood study's findings have revealed considerable decrease (P≤0.05) when comparing rates same criteria group.
 Conclusion:
 interleukin 11 rheumatoid was found less than investigation.
